This game really is a perfect way to learn this. I’ve tried things like Duolingo and other online platforms, short of paying someone to sit and talk to me in Spanish. Using this game I have started speaking to my children in Spanish. It has increased my Spanish more than anything else has in the past. Nothing has boosted my use of the language like this has.

La cuarentena was designed for communication where students are able to communicate not only with each other as part of the game, but also with the characters in the game... I think that this opportunity for students to have a real-life, interesting, meaningful experience playing a game in another language really presents an opportunity to be able to practice their language and do so in a way that they don't even recognize what they're doing.
